Life On The Land

And, the young ewe was helped out of her predicament with no troubles and took off to join her mates very fast! It only mean't stretching the wire to allow her to get her head released. The wire was tight but able to be pulled aside. If it had stayed there, it would have soon been fly blown or very, very thirsty!

Poor litle thing was quite frightened when I approached quietly, but seemed grateful to be able to run free again.

These are young Merino sheep. They are lovely creatures.

On another note, the McNaught Comet has passed over Australia leaving us all in a bit of awe and wonder out this way as it was so bright! The stars here are always very bright, but after the comet passed they were even brighter! I think I could see into eternity after it passed leaving it's vapour trail for us all to gaze at in wonder.
It seemed so low too. Quite spectacular indeed!
